Meet Michael Prince – Head of Office Integrations & Client Service at Parkwoods

Michael Prince leads Office Integrations and Client Service from our St. Louis, MO office. His role focuses on creating efficient, reliable processes that help our advisors and teams deliver exceptional service to clients. Michael brings decades of experience in operations and a genuine passion for helping people – both inside and outside the firm – work more smoothly together.

How Does Your Team Help Clients?

My hope is that we’re building a team of skilled, motivated people who draw on their deep industry experience to make advisors’ and clients’ lives easier. Every firm wants operational efficiency, but it shouldn’t come at the cost of what really matters – being able to call someone you know and trust to quickly take care of what’s important to you.

What Can Clients Expect When They Work With Your Team?

Consistent communication and a willingness to problem-solve to get the best outcome for clients.

What’s an improvement that you’ve made that helps clients?

When I recognize a problem a client is having, I follow up with the advisor or tax professional until I know it’s been resolved. I don’t just hand things off – I make sure they’re finished.

What makes Parkwoods the right place for how you like to serve clients?

We’ve focused on improving clients’ digital experience this year. Using electronic approvals and signatures has significantly increased the speed at which we can complete client requests.

What’s a Common Bottleneck that You See, and How Do You Prevent It?

We try to anticipate client needs and build processes to address them from the start of every relationship. For example, we proactively set up bank links and internal reminders for Required Minimum Distributions and other key deadlines – all to minimize last-minute tasks for clients.

What Makes Parkwoods the Right Place for How You Like to Serve Clients?

Every member of our team is motivated to create an amazing experience for clients. It’s energizing. The knowledge and experience across the team are impressive, and I feel lucky to be part of such an incredible company.

What’s a Capability that You’re Building This Year, and How Will it Help Clients?

We’re looking closely at the number of fintech tools we ask clients to use and whether they’re truly improving the experience. My goal is to make everything simpler and more user-friendly over the next year.

What’s a Fun Fact About Yourself (that’s actually fun)?

I’ve played on a men’s hockey team that’s been together for more than 20 years. We have far fewer games ahead than behind us, and I wouldn’t bet on any more trophies, but we still really enjoy it.
