Ed lives in Brentwood, MO with his wife, Darcy, and two sons, Dony and Milan. The Edwin family fills their time with sports practices, parks, playgrounds and traveling to see family. Ed loves old cars, enjoying good wine with friends, and concerts with Darcy.

Ed Edwin is responsible for the day-to-day operations at Parkwoods and is a member of Parkwood’s Executive Committee, which sets the strategic direction of the firm.
Prior to founding Parkwoods, Ed served as a regional director in the Client Communications group at Dimensional Fund Advisors. While at Dimensional, he led teams that designed, implemented, and scaled critical client engagement programs. From 2020 through 2023, Ed led the firm’s Virtual Strategy and then the Industry Relations programs. Whether it was through virtual mediums or at in-person events, Ed’s focus was to build teams and scalable processes that delivered world-class, client experiences. Additionally, he provided investment consultation to Registered Investment Advisors, IBD-advisors, family offices, and community foundations and endowments. Before joining Dimensional, Ed worked in various operational and project-based roles at BAM Advisors Services (now, Buckingham Strategic Partners).
Ed currently sits on the executive committee for the Washington University in St. Louis, Wealth and Asset Management Conference.
Ed earned his Master of Business Administration from the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis, and graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
