Meet Sandra Wilkins – Client Relationship Manager

Sandra Wilkins

Sandra Wilkins has spent more than forty years in financial services, and the through-line in all of it has been relationships. As Client Relationship Manager at Parkwoods’ Nashville office, she supports two advisors and their clients – handling account openings, money movement, and the day-to-day service that keeps a financial plan running smoothly.

Sandra’s career has deep roots in the Nashville financial community. She spent nearly thirty years at KraftCPAs and Kraft Asset Management, growing from CPE Coordinator in the tax department to Operations Manager for the asset management arm. That long tenure gave her an exceptional understanding of how financial operations and genuine client care work together. Most recently, she served as Client Services Manager at Insight Strategic Wealth before joining Parkwoods.

Sandra and her husband Jim live in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, just north of Nashville. They have two sons, Matthew and Taylor, and five grandchildren. She is also an active contributor to her community, having served as President, Board Member, and Advisory Council member of Leadership Goodlettsville.

Below, Sandra shares what clients can expect when they work with her, why the personal side of this work matters, and what a phone call that reminds her why she loves her job sounds like.

How do you help clients?

I support two advisors and their clients. Most of my days are spent opening new accounts, moving money, and talking with clients. My goal is to make sure their requests are handled quickly and that they always feel taken care of.

What should clients expect when they work with you?

Clients should expect responsiveness, friendliness, and personal service. I want every interaction to feel helpful – not transactional.

What’s one misconception you often clarify?

One misconception some clients have is thinking we have a vault full of money in our office just waiting for them. They don’t always understand that the money is held and invested by the custodian – and that when they need it, we have to request it on their behalf. Once they understand how that process works, it makes everything a lot smoother.

Why does Parkwoods fit how you like to serve clients?

Parkwoods is the type of firm our clients love. They receive personal investment advice – not a one-size-fits-all approach. They love how quickly we respond to their requests and the personal service they receive. That’s exactly how I’ve always believed this work should be done.

What’s a behind-the-scenes detail that improves the client experience?

Both of my advisors introduce me to new clients, and that makes a real difference. The more I get to know a client – their travel plans, their grandchildren, what’s going on in their lives – the easier it is for us to connect on a personal basis. I think it helps clients realize we’re people too, not just a firm that manages their money. That personal connection matters.

What’s a proud moment in your work with clients?

A proud moment is when a client calls just to let me know how much they appreciate the service. Or when I hear from someone saying they’re glad I’m back with William Braddy – that they missed me and are looking forward to working together again. Those calls make my job so much more rewarding.

What are you reading right now?

I’ve been reading a lot of Freida McFadden lately. I’m almost finished with The Teacher.

What’s your favorite local spot?

We have a couple. Los Palmas Mexican Restaurant is one – the food is wonderful and the margaritas are the best. Plaza Mexican Bar and Grill is another favorite. And when the grands are playing baseball, you’ll find us at the fields.

What’s a fun fact (that’s actually fun)?

I live in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, about eleven miles from downtown Nashville. Goodlettsville is the only city in the world with that name – there’s nowhere else like it.
